The strategic approach…    

This third module is aimed at people who intend to enter working life to raise their awareness of key aspects of entrepreneurship in general and more specifically of business creation.

It follows business creation by the entrepreneur studied in the first two workshops. It discusses the strategy aspects of business development and large institutional factors with which the business manager must learn to live, even use for his own benefit that are the competition rules and international law, contract law, taxation and professional regulation, not to mention his civil and criminal liability.

NOTE: This module will only address key strategic analysis tools that are PESTLE and SWOT. Complementary approaches such as TOWS, strategic niches, segmentation or BCG may be cited to allow students who wish, to explore these other dimensions of the strategic approach.

Objectives: The art of entrepreneurship, the art of convincing and winning

  • Understand how a business operates within its environment and how it interacts with it.
  • Master and personalize a strategic approach in line with the personality of the entrepreneur.
  • Integrate competitive differentiation techniques and constraints.

Attendance:

All business start-up project’s holder who wish to deepen his knowledge on top added-value leverages.

Methodology and strength:

Successful project leaders and entrepreneurs depend first and foremost on appropriate knowledge, techniques and behaviors that are adapted to differentiate and succeed.

Optimal ownership of the knowledge by each participant through the experimentation of techniques and the realization of situations based on “hands-on” cases and group work.

Teaching Methods:

To alternate the presentation of the knowledge and the concepts with their technical and operational declination by reviewing the different stages of the business growth.

To promote further implementation with "hands on" cases and simulations.

To encourage participants to analyze and correct their practices.

An interactive approach that leads to considering each action as an integral part of the business development process

Teacher:

Elena DUTOIT: Teacher in oenology and business management at LE CORDON BLEU PARIS – the cradle of what is considered today the largest international network of culinary and hospitality institutions in the world. Designer of hands-on training on food and wine (oenogastronomy). Manager of the wine distribution and export Company Back'us.

Duration: A 3-hour workshop*

Group: 15 people maximum

Fees: 180 € including taxes

Location: Paris 

* Although not mandatory, it is advisable to attend the two Level-1 workshops before joining this one.
